Yogyakarta, Diberitakan.com –Society 5.0 pada tanggal 21 November 2019 telah Dideklarasikan Jepang . Dimana Era ini menekankan pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan termasuk robot didalamnya, untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan kehidupan manusia.
Tidak mau ketinggalan, Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta pada hari Kamis, 21 November 2019 menghadirkan pakar robotika dari Jepang untuk menceritakan tentang Computational Intelligence for Cognitive Robotics (CI for CR). Berbagai konsep tentang kecerdasan buatan telah dijelaskan oleh Prof. Naoyuki Kubota, Ph.D, seorang professor dari Tokyo Metopolitan University (TMU). Selain itu beberapa contoh penerapan kecerdasan buatan dalam bidang robotika juga ditunjukkan dengan gamblang melalui berbagai video dokumentasi hasil penelitian dari Profesor yang memiliki Scopus H-Index 23 itu.
Sharing diberikan kepada dosen dan mahasiswa terutama mahasiswa pascasarjana dan mahasiswa internasional class. Kegiatan juga disharing online melalui teleconference untuk dapat diikuti oleh mahasiswa S2 Informatika Program Pendidikan Jarak Jauh yang posisinya tersebar di berbagai daerah di luar Yogyakarta.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Dr. Kusrini, M.Kom, Direktur Pascasarjana AMIKOM juga memaparkan berbagai produk hasil penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa AMIKOM tentang kecerdasarn buatan. Setelah pertemuan ini, akan ditindaklanjuti dengan kerjasama kolaborasi penelitian antara AMIKOM dengan TMU Jepang. Kolaborasi penelitian ini diharapkan semakin memperbaiki kualitas penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa AMIKOM sehingga produk hasil penelitiannya juga dapat berdampak tidak hanya bagi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan tetapi juga bagi kesehjahteraan masyarakat.
