Wali Kota Jakut Minta Semua Pihak Edukasi dan Ajak Masyarakat Ikut Penanganan Banjir

Jakarta, Faktapers.id –Antisipasi penanggulangan bencana banjir, Wali Kota Administrasi Jakarta Utara Sigit Wijatmoko memberikan arahan agar semua pihak menggerakan dan mengedukasi masyarakat ikut terlibat dalam penanganan banjir.

Kegiatan yang dilakukan secara virtual di Ruang VIP Kantor Wali Kota Administrasi Jakarta Utara, Jumat (25/9/2020).

“Kita harus bisa menggerakkan dan mengedukasikan masyarakat untuk terlibat dalam penanganan banjir ini. Baik masyarakat, lurah, camat bertugas sebagai mata-mata yang secara langsung dapat melihat bagaimana situasi atau kondisi saluran atau kali-kali yang ada di wilayah kita,” katanya.

Melihat kondisi nyata masyarakat masih dalam kondisi pandemi, Sigit menambahkan, tentunya akan menjadi tantangan dalam melakukan penanganan dan penataan di wilayah dengan konsep kerja bakti massal.

“Meskipun ini harusnya bisa diterjemahkan dalam perspektif yang baik, artinya kita harus bisa menghindari bahwa sebuah proses yang mulia ini jangan menjadi sebuah epicentrum baru penularan COVID-19,” tambahnya.

Untuk melindungi penyebaran COVID-19, Sigit ingin seluruh masyarakat yang terlibat dalam rencana penanganan banjir terlebih dahulu melakukan rapid test (test cepat).

“Kita bicara akan proteksi dari penanganan banjir maupun proteksi penyebaran COVID-19. Untuk itu kita harus membangkitkan segala potensi yang ada, mengajak semua pihak terlibat. Untuk seluruh jajaran Pemerintah Kota Jakarta Utara yang terpenting dari ini semua adalah bagaimana kita bekerja tidak hanya mengerjakan apa yang diperintahkan atau diinstruksikan, tetapi semua saling terkait, bekerjasama, koordinasi seluruh pihak. Jika perlu keadaan setiap wilayah dilaporkan secara berkala,” tuturnya.Tajuli
